What is Blizzard Jailbreak?
Blizzard Jailbreak is a semi-tethered jailbreak that is currently in development for iOS 15 to iOS 16.0.2, and it will be compatible with checkm8-enabled devices. This jailbreak is being created by the iOS security enthusiast known as GeoSn0w (@FCE365) and will be both free and fully open-source. After completing the jailbreak process with Blizzard Jailbreak, you will have the option to choose between Sileo, Zebra, and Installer 5 as your package manager.
The GeoSn0w semi-tethered jailbreak was initially created for iOS 9 without support for tweak installation. It served as a development platform to learn how to develop an iOS jailbreak. However, Blizzard for iOS 9 later added support for tweaks, making it a complete jailbreak solution.
Blizzard Jailbreak is a semi-tethered jailbreak, meaning that after every device restart, you will need to re-jailbreak to return to the jailbroken state with tweaks installed. It only works on a few iPhone models, including the iPhone 6, iPhone SE, iPhone 8, and iPhone X.
What's even more exciting is that GeoSn0w plans to release the source code for Blizzard Jailbreak on GitHub Repository, allowing others to join the development process. This is significant news for the jailbreak community, as well as security researchers and tweak developers.

Currently, Blizzard Jailbreak is still under development and not available for download on iOS 15 to iOS 16.0.2. However, the release is expected to be soon. Blizzard Jailbreak is available as an IPA package that can be sideloaded with an IPA installer on iOS 15 and iOS 16. You can also re-sign the app on your iDevice using the Bullfrog Assistant IPA installer, eliminating the need for a computer to re-jailbreak when necessary.
The Blizzard Jailbreak Installer can install the jailbreak tool on iOS 15.0 up to iOS 16.0.2. To initiate the iOS 15 jailbreak process, connect your checkm8 device to your computer and enter DFU mode, similar to the checkra1n jailbreak process.
Once you click the jailbreak button, the Blizzard Jailbreak app will install on your device, and it will be accessible from your Home Screen. You can use the Blizzard Jailbreak app to re-jailbreak, disable pirated repositories, and remove the jailbreak from your system. You can also switch between supported package managers by tapping on jailbreak.
An installer for Linux users will likely be released as well. This method will enable the installation of Blizzard Jailbreak from a Windows machine via a Linux USB.

Fugu15 Max (Dopamine) is a newly developed jailbreak tool for iOS devices running iOS 15 to iOS 15.4.1, including A12+ models. It is an upgraded version of Fugu15 with added functionality like tweak injection support and improved exploit performance, although this feature is still in development and not yet operational. Fugu15 Max (Dopamine) was designed with end-users in mind, allowing them to easily utilize Sileo and install tweaks designed for rootless jailbreaks.

Palera1n is the newest jailbreak tool for iOS 15.7 - 15 and the first semi-tethered checkm8 jailbreak. It now supports iOS 16 - 16.4 jailbreaks, with upcoming support for iOS 16.4.1 This tool allows easy jailbreaking access to customization options and tweaks. Palera1n is user-friendly, stable, and reliable.
Xina Jailbreak
XinaA15 Jailbreak, also known as Xina15, is a new project that enables the jailbreaking of modern A12+ devices running iOS 15. Currently, the jailbreak only works on A12 – A15 devices with iOS 15 – iOS 15.1.1 installed. This is a rootless jailbreak with tweak injection support. Previously, Palera1n jailbreak was the only solution available to jailbreak devices running iOS 15 up to iOS 15.7.5, but it only supported older devices with the A7-A11 chip. With the introduction of the XinaA15 jailbreak, users with devices newer than the iPhone X, equipped with the A12 or newer chip, can also jailbreak their iOS 15 devices (iOS 15.0 – iOS 15.1.1).
Ra1ncloud Jailbreak
Ra1nCloud is a new jailbreak tool for developers, allowing jailbreaking and SSH server installation on A12+ devices running iOS 15 to iOS 15.4.1. It's built on Fugu15 by Linus Hanze, but it doesn't support tweak injection for end-users seeking advanced device customization. Some developers are attempting to add tweak injection to Fugu15 Jailbreak, but success is uncertain. Ra1nCloud uses opa334's Fugu15 fork with PoC tweak injection code, and the developer, iArchive, has yet to introduce significant features unique to the tool.
Cheyote Jailbreak
Cheyote is a jailbreak tool designed for iOS and iPadOS on A8 to A11 chip devices running iOS 15.0 to 15.1.1. It offers easy implementation of new exploits but only supports A12+ devices up to iOS 15.1.1. Popular models like iPhone 12, iPhone 11, iPhone SE, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR are only compatible up to iOS 15.1.1. Future support for newer iOS versions may be added. Recently, CoolStar announced that Cheyote Jailbreak would be her final release after 5 years of developing tweaks and creating jailbreak tools. Unfortunately, the Cheyote Jailbreak for iOS 15 was never released.
Checkra1n jailbreak
Checkra1n is a semi-tethered jailbreak that utilizes the powerful checkm8 exploit. This bootrom exploit is unpatchable and can be used on all devices up to iPhone X. Unfortunately, Checkra1n is not currently available for iOS 15 and newer versions. However, a virtual Checkra1n Jailbreak is now accessible for those running iOS 15 and above.
Unc0ver jailbreak
At the moment, the Unc0ver jailbreak is not compatible with iPhone models running iOS 15 through iOS 15.7.5, including the latest iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 models. However, there are Virtual Checkra1n jailbreak options available for iOS 15 through iOS 16.5, which are listed below.
