How to install the Unc0ver jailbreak with AltStore

If you’re ready to install the Unc0ver jailbreak with AltStore, then follow the steps below to get started: NOTE: If you’re already using AltStore, then you can skip to Step 16 to use it to install the Unc0ver jailbreak app.

Download AltStore

Double-click the downloaded ZIP file and drag the ensuing AltStore icon to your Applications folder.

Launch the AltStore application.
Click the AltStore icon in the Menu Bar and then click the Install Mail Plug-in option:

In the pop-up prompt, click the blue Install Plug-in button:

Enter your administrator password if prompted, then click OK:

Once finished, a prompt appears to say that the Plug-in was installed, click OK:

Open the Mail app and go to Mail -> Preferences in the Menu Bar:

In the Mail preferences, open the General tab and click the Manage Plug-ins button:

Click the checkbox next to AltPlugin.mailbundle and then click the Apply and Restart Mail button:

When prompted whether you’re sure you want to allow the Mail plugin to access files on your computer or not, click on the gray Allow Access button: As of now, you have successfully installed AltStore and AltServer on your computer. In the next steps, you will install the AltStore app on your iPhone or iPad.

Connect your Unc0ver-compatible iPhone or iPad to your computer with a MFi-certified USB to Lightning cable.

In the Menu Bar, click on the AltStore icon and then navigate to Install AltStore -> [Your device name]:

Log in with your Apple ID when prompted, then click Install:
If you see a prompt that says AltStore has been used on another device previously, just click Continue and move on. It won’t appear for everyone.

AltStore will now appear on your handset’s Home screen, but don’t launch it yet. Instead, navigate to Settings -> General -> Device Management and tap your Apple ID:

Tap the blue Trust [Your Apple ID] button, then when prompted tap the red Trust button:
AltStore will now open to begin loading enter the same Apple ID you used above if prompted and then tap on the Sign In button:

AltStore should now be set up on your iPhone. Next, we will install the unc0ver jailbreak app with AltStore.

Now Download Unc0ver iPA

Open Altstore > My Apps > Tap + Button

Now you can see Downloaded IPA > Tap it

Now you can see the progress bar running in Altstore

Once progress done > You can see Downloaded IPA on AltStore My Apps section

Go to the Home page of your iOS Device and open App

After AltStore finishes, the unc0ver app will appear in your list of apps as side-loaded:

Return to the Home screen, launch the unc0ver app, and tap the big blue Jailbreak button:
When finished, the Sileo package manager appears on your Home Screen.
