How to jailbreak with G0blin

  1. Download the g0blin jailbreak iPA
    Download G0blin IPA

  2. Download Cydia Impactor
    Windows MAC

  3. Plug your iOS device into your computer via the Lightning USB cable.

  4. If you receive a prompt on your iOS device that asks whether you want to “Trust this Computer?”, then select “Trust”.

  5. Open Cydia Impactor, then drag and drop the g0blin .ipa file that you downloaded over the Cydia Impactor.

  6. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted. Note:If you have two-factor authentication enabled, either disable it or follow this walkthrough on Apple’s website to create an app-specific password.(Once this process is over, you can re-enable two-factor authentication if you chose to disable it.)

  7. Once Cydia Impactor installs the g0blin application onto your iOS device, you should see it appear on your Home screen.
    Note: if you receive an error that looks like the screenshot below, then don’t panic because the app will still have installed on your device.

  8. Open the g0blin app on your iOS device, then tap the purple “jailbreak” button.

  9. The jailbreak process will now begin. Do not touch your device until the jailbreak is completed successfully. Please note that the jailbreak might fail a few times, in which case the phone will either reboot, or the button will change to read “try again.” In such a case, you have to retry the jailbreak.
    Once the jailbreak is completed successfully, you will get a notification that your storage is almost full (it isn’t really), and the button will eventually change to say “respring”. Tap the respring button to restart your device. Once done, your device will be jailbroken and Cydia will appear on the Home screen.
